OES increased and improved our testing capabilities, to satisfy an ever growing market, for developing down hole completion tools. Test Cell #2 was constructed to have an additional test cell at our facility, and to keep up with the industries demand for higher pressure / high temperature products in the field. It also has the capability to test tools horizontally per ISO requirements.

Test Cell #2 was designed with safety being of upmost importance. The cell was built away from the facility to creat distance from shop to cell.
The "Cell" was also designed to function remotely, by using pneumatic valves and pumps, to minimize the risk of personel being too close to high pressures.
A Data Acquistion System records all pressures and temperatures during a test. The rate the data is collected at can be changed depending on the customers needs.
A remote HD digital camera continually monitors the high pressure gauges during a test. A live feed is fed to the LCD flat screen - high definition TV, that is safely located inside the facility at the Test Cell #2 Control Station.

Test Cell #2 has a 8' tall "Vertical Test Bath" inside of it, that can accept pressure vessels up to 7' length. The bath has an ID of 12", which means the bath can accept pressure vessels with OD up to 10.5", to allow for hydraulic line clearance. The bath is filled with an environmentally safe heat transfer fluid. This fluid provides a uniform temperature through - out the bath. Also, a horizontal test bath is plumbed into the system. The system allows converting to either the vertical bath or the horizontal bath by manipulating valves.
The bath is heated by an automated "smart immersion heater" that is located adjacent to the bath. Booster heaters have be added for faster heat up. The heater is controlled automatically and preprogrammed to operate at a desired temperature up to 400°F. The heater has a safety feature that will shut the system off in case of a malfunction, to prevent overheating the system and the test assembly.
